Prices, Reservations & Payment CJ guarantees that our published trip prices will not change. We charge a single supplement to individual travellers who wish to ensure that they have private rooms during the trip. To reserve your trip, we require a non-refundable deposit of $1,500 per person. The balance of your payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Payments can be made by personal checks. To complete your reservation, you must sign and return a Traveller Information Form and an Acknowledgement of Liability, Release and Indemnity at least 90 days prior to departure, to confirm that you have read and agree to those terms.

We strongly recommend cancellation insurance. For reservations within the 90-day period, the premium must be included with your full trip payment. You may transfer your reservation to another trip within the same calendar year if you notify us 60 days prior to the original departure and pay a fee of $100 per person. Within 60 days of departure no changes can be made. CJ reserves the right to cancel any trip if there are too few participants, or if the quality of the trip or the safety of travellers is judged to be compromised. In such a case, refund of any payments received shall constitute full settlement. CJ cannot assume responsibility for any loss incurred on account of non-refundable air tickets.

Eligibility We require that travellers be at least 21 years of age on all trips.

Terms & Conditions All trips described herein are offered subject to CJ's standard terms and conditions, including the Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity. Please review these terms and conditions prior to booking a trip.

Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity To be eligible to take a CJ trip, travellers must accept the risks of theft or loss or damage to property. In addition some of the services provided in connection with trips including lodging, transportation, food service and local tours and activities, are obtained through independent suppliers over whom CJ has no control. Travellers must assume full responsibility for any loss, injury, death or damage to them, their family or their dependents arising in connection with their participation, or the participation of their family in the trips. Travellers must have their own insurance appropriate to their needs and the needs of family or dependents in respect of such loss, injury, death or damage.

Although Culinary Journeys endeavours to choose appropriate independent suppliers to provide services on the trips Culinary Journeys has no right to control their operations and therefore makes travel arrangements for the trips on the condition that Culinary Journeys will not be liable for any negligent or willful act or omission of any independent supplier or any unrelated third party. The services provided by independent suppliers are subject to the laws of the place where the services are provided, and any conditions imposed by those suppliers . The liability of the independent suppliers may be limited by their tariffs, conditions tickets and vouchers and international conventions and agreements.

The cost of all CJ trips are priced on the basis of travellers agreeing to this Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity. In consideration for participating in the trips travellers agree not to sue Culinary Journeys in respect of, and forever release them from, all liability for economic loss and physical or mental injury, direct or indirect, arising in connection with the trip - including without limitation, permanent disability and death; any emotional distress, loss of services, financial support, aid, consortium or companionship; and any damage to loss of property-in each case even if caused in whole or in part by the conduct, including negligence, of Culinary Journeys or except where such loss, injury or damage is caused by the reckless or fraudulent conduct on the part of CJ in which case the traveller retains the right to sue only CJ.

Travellers further agree that they will hold Culinary Journeys harmless in respect of any claims arising in connection with the trip made by: i) the traveller's family members dependents or heirs have sued, if damages are recovered from such third parties, to the extent the third party obtains any indemnification from Culinary Journeys; except where the loss, injury, death or damage is caused by the reckless or fraudulent conduct on the part of CJ.

CJ reserves the right to decline accepting or retaining any traveller whose health, or actions Culinary Journey's sole judgement impede the operation of a trip or the welfare and enjoyment of fellow travellers. In further consideration for participating in the trip travellers agree that CJ or their designate, may use any photographic or film records of the trips for promotional and/or commercial purposes, without any remuneration to the traveller. Traveller agrees to assign all right, title, and interest they may have in or to any me which their name or likeness might be used to CJ.

Travellers agree that Culinary Journeys LLC,is the trustee of the respective rights Culinary Journeys under this Release. This Limitation of Risk and Release will apply to a traveller's trip with CJ, and any transfer of a reservation to another trip, including any pre-trip or post-trip extensions. This Limitation of Risk and Release is binding upon all members of the traveller's family, dependants, estate, heirs, successors and legal personal representatives. Any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to this Limitation of Risk and Release or its interpretation, the trip, or the traveller's relationship with Culinary Journeys will be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in Dallas, Texas in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration association then existent.

The term CJ refers to Culinary Journeys LLC, a tour operator registered in Texas which offers and operates all of the trips listed herein.
